| The
Jones Winery has several acres of grapes at the Jones Family
Farms. The winemaker and vineyard manager Jamie Jones has found
that several varietals do grow extremely well and make high
quality wines. The vineyard includes European vinifera such
as Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Lemberger and Pinot Gris. American
hybrid varieties, such as Seyval Blanc and Cayuga White, also
thrive. Each year Jamie has been expanding the vineyard.
In
addition to the vineyard, the farm has 25 acres of wonderful
berry crops. These fruits are picked when they are fully sun-ripened
and delicious to make our specialty fruit wines.
