Jones Family farms

Fall Foliage Hike

Aug 26 2010

Jones Family farms is home to an incredible diversity of trees beyond our Christmas tree fields. Discover how trees adapt to the New England seasons, why specific species grow here, and how Native Americans used many of our local varieties in everyday life. Explore how flowers, fruits, nuts, leaves and bark help a tree survive; and how we can use these characteristics to identify trees where we live. We'll celebrate the beginning of fall with a walk through some of the farm's most scenic forests, fields, and overlooks!
