Making jam
This classic pie can be made with fresh or frozen berries.
1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon or grated lemon peel
4 cups blueberries, fresh or frozen
Pastry for a 2 crust pie
1. Mix sugar, flour, and seasoning. Combine with berries. Place in pastry-lined 9-inch pie pan. Adjust top crust and flute edges. Cut vents.
2. Bake in preheated 425 degrees F oven for 10 minutes; lower heat to 350 degrees F and bake 35 to 40 minutes, until crust is lightly browned and juice bubbles through steam vents.
