Group Tastings

Jones Winery offers guests a relaxing, educationally informative, and delicious wine tasting opportunity. Tasting Room staff are pleased to provide a unique learning experience for winery guests, educating them on how to sample, serve, and pair the wines for optimum enjoyment.

•  Cost is $6.50/per person plus tax. Each guest will sample 6 wines and keep the Jones Winery logo wine glass.
• Advance notice requested for groups greater than 8.
• Due to the farm’s busy seasons, we cannot accommodate large group reservations on weekends in June, October, late November or December during our regular hours.
• We do not permit outside food or picnicking; wine crackers are provided during the tasting. Regional cheeses are available for purchase to accompany wine by the glass sales during our normal Tasting Room hours (Fri. - Sun. 11 AM to 5 PM).
• The tasting will last approximately 20-30 minutes.
• Due to our busy tasting room, group tastings for more than 8 people should be scheduled between 11 AM and 2 PM.  If the group is planning to visit several wineries on the Connecticut Wine Trail, please consider visiting us in the beginning of your day.
• Please  note, there are no buses or limo groups without reservations.
• Please remember to bring to the Tasting Room your photo ID showing proof of age.  Everyone under 30 years old will be carded.

• Cost is $10.00/per person plus tax. Each guest will sample 6 wines and keep the Jones Winery logo wine glass.
• Advance reservation required. 
• To hold the date, a fifty percent, non-refundable, down payment is required. Down payment, to be received no later than 2 weeks prior to tasting date, with the check made payable to Jones Winery. Down payment applied toward total cost of tasting the day of.
• No outside food is permitted.  Connecticut cheese platters are available, and must be ordered at time of reservation/deposit. Platter cost varies depending on season/cheese selection. (Available for private group tastings only.)
• For additional catering options, the Stepney Kitchen has created a terrific catering menu for the Jones Winery.  The Stepney Kitchen also believes that the Jones Family Farms philosophy that local, seasonal ingredients make the most delicious foods.  Items from their catering menu can be ordered through the Jones Winery.
• Tasting Room is available to the group for one hour and 15 minutes.
• Please note, while there is limited seating throughout the tasting room and patio, there are no chairs available for meetings.
• For 501c3 nonprofits, the Jones Winery will donate to the sponsoring organization 10% of all wines sales that occur during the event.
