A fresh, healthy choice for any lunch or dinner!
Ingredients:
Dressing:
1 cup canola oil
4 Tbsp champagne or white wine vinegar
2 Tbsp sherry
¼ tsp freshly grated ginger
½ tsp allspice
2 tsp honey or maple syrup
Salad:
4 cups broccoli, cut into bite-size pieces
1 cup walnuts
½ cup red onion, diced
4 cups pears, cut into thin slices (about 3 ½ cups after slicing)
Directions:
1. Mix all dressing ingredients in a small container or jar. Shake or whisk to combine.
2. In your serving bowl, place all the salad ingredients (broccoli, onion, walnuts and pears). Pour the dressing over and gently toss to coat.
Yield: 12-16 Servings
