Jones Mulled Wine

Jones Mulled Wine

 
Ingredients:
1 bottle Jones Winery Harvest Time Apple-Pear Wine or Jones Beacon Light #8
6 bags mulling spices
2 cups apple cider
1/2-cup cranberry juice
1/3-cup maple syrup
2 Tbsp fresh orange juice + zest of 1 orange
Optional: 1/2-Tbsp cardamom pods, 2 cinnamon sticks, 1/4-cup fresh or frozen cranberries
 
Directions:
  1. Combine the wine, cider, juice, syrup, orange juice, and zest with optional cardamom, cinnamon sticks, and cranberries in a large sauce pan.
  2. Bring to boil and simmer over low heat for 15-18 minutes.
  3. Pour into mugs, add an orange peel and cinnamon stick to each and serve.
