Options for Small Groups and Home School Students

Small groups of 20 or less total participants are welcome to visit our Pumpkinseed Hill Farm for a teacher-led experience Monday-Friday at 10am. For $8.00 per person, you will enjoy a ride on the 10am public hay wagon around our farm fields, then will have the opportunity to visit the farmyard and select a small ($5-size) pumpkin to take home.

To ensure the best experience, we require that self-guided groups send an e-mail to education [at] to inform us of the date of your visit, and the number of total participants. We recommend one adult chaperone for every 5 children. We cannot accommodate self-guided groups that exceed 20 people.

We find the most successful self-guided experiences include planned activities (such as our Self-Guided Handout, printed booklet-style) or other teacher-led activities, such as a scavenger hunt.

Be good to the land and the land will be good to you.
