Our Merlot is made from 100% California fruit (90% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon) in the Bordeaux style and is the fullest red wine made by Jones Winery. This full-bodied, dark, garnet-colored wine has aromas of cedar, chocolate, and smoky oak. Silky with ripe flavors of black cherry, blackberry, and mulberry. It is barrel aged 6-8 months in a mix of French, American, and Hungarian oak. This wine is a perfect match for beef, pork, lamb, and duck as well as rich, bold cheeses.
