This dry, ruby-red wine is part of our Heritage Series and is one of the original wines produced at Jones Family Farms. It has smooth flavors of black cherries, roasted tomato and black currant. If you tend towards Italian food and wine, this is a perfect match! Made with California grapes, this medium-bodied wine is a process of both stainless steel and oak barrel aging (12 months.) Made from California grapes including: Sangiovese, Zinfandel, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Ripton Red pairs well with braised short ribs, tomato-based pasta dishes, and Italian cheeses.
