One of Our Two Locations for Harvest Your Own Trees
Candy Cane Hill is located in the heart of the Jones Family Farms' harvest your own tree operations. Enjoy a walk with your family through our tree fields to find and cut down your perfect tree.
Candy Cane Hill Highlights
- Candy Cane Hill is located on the beautiful hillsides above the Jones Family Farm's Barnyard Village and entry parking area. There are over one-hundred acres of harvest your own trees to explore.
- Candy Cane Hill is open every day of the tree season. When parking at the main parking area, guests will meet a greeter in the Barnyard Village who provide information and a handsaw.
- On busy tree season weekends, cars may drive up to the top of Candy Cane Hill and park in our meadow. Our friendly farm greeters welcome all guests and provide them information on that day's best information on tree varieties and tree tram services. Please remember that reservations are needed throughout the farm during the 3 day weekend of Thanksgiving and the first weekend of December - thank you.
- Candy Cane Hill has a great selection of wonderful tree varieties: Balsam Firs, Douglas Firs, Blue Spruces, and White Pines. Harvest your own tree fields are well stocked for trees to 10 feet; families wanting larger trees can consider a pre-cut tree in the Barnyard Village. Frasers at Candy Cane Hill are limited in quantity and in height since they grow more slowly (consider a Balsam, which is very similar tree, or going to Merry Berry Valley on the peak weekends or crossing the street to the East Slope weekdays). For our wonderful farm-fresh, pre-cut trees, go to the Barnyard Village, open daily.
- Please visit Merry Berry Valley to learn about our other beloved harvest your own tree fields. Both Merry Berry Valley and Candy Cane Hill are all part of the Jones Family Farms, though they have their own parking areas (and their own reservations on peak weekends.)
- There is great information at our Tree FAQs.
