"A Farmer's Day"

This year are celebrating the many important jobs in a farmer's day. It's a lot of work to be a farmer, but a lot of fun, too. Come learn what farming is all about!

Harvest Your Own Pumpkins

We have your perfect pumpkin -  big, little, pretty, unusual, orange, white or green – whatever you like. Come to gather your favorites – in our actual pumpkin fields or in our big farmyard – to welcome autumn to your home. In our pumpkin fields, we cut the stems on the pumpkins making it easier for families to retrieve them from the vine. Read more about harvesting and caring your own pumpkins.

Mini-Corn Maze

Our mini-corn maze is open to everyone with their entry fee. It's one acre of twists and turns that is a perfect delight to children and those looking for a mini-adventure.

Explore the Farm

With our Wildlife Ranger Hike and other trails, we have opened acres and acres of the farm so you can experience the beauty of the New England fall landscape. While there is much of the farm to explore, please stay in designated areas.

Hayride

Farm Hayride

We have a tractor-drawn hayride that takes guests through the farm fields including the vineyard, Christmas trees, and berry fields with the beautiful hillsides as the backdrop. As in previous years, there is an additional charge for tractor rides in addition to entry; see the reservations for details; children 2 and under are free.

Fun Photo Ops

While the natural beauty of the farm makes a great backdrop, we have many fun things for you to pose with, from fall displays to colorful rainbows, from our "Queen Bee Chair" to our vintage farm truck. Please note, there are no professional photography sessions permitted, and please do not climb onto any farm equipment or displays.

Enjoyable Explorations

We love sharing our passion for education as well as agriculture. We celebrate in our artwork the beauty and science in farming and in nature.

Please note, as we get closer to Halloween, we have few pumpkins in the pumpkin patches. As the weather gets colder, the farmers harvest the pumpkins from the fields in order to plant the winter cover crops in the fields to protect the soils from erosion. Thanks for farming with us!

As we reflect on our agricultural adventures and experiences, I find it exciting to realize that our many environmental practices work in symbiosis with the positive ecological impacts and the economic success of our farm.

I believe this is a critical message for our nation to embrace.
