Chaperones play an important role in our education programs. One of the chaperones’ most important jobs is to be enthusiastic and attentive, demonstrating how we are all lifelong learners.

To make sure school children have a great visit at the farm, we have outlined some very helpful tips for the children, teachers and chaperones.

Our Pumpkinseed Hill Farm is located at 120 Beardsley Road, Shelton, CT. Please note, Pumpkinseed Hill is NOT the location of our Christmas Tree Farm. We recommend arriving 10 minutes before your scheduled program.

Pumpkin and squash make for delicious sides, main dishes and treats.

Blueberries complement jams, fruit salads, wine cocktails, and even pancakes.

Strawberries make delicious treats from jams, to salsa to frozen pops. They are very nutritious, easy to freeze, and great for pies, shortcakes, jams, and fresh eating.
