Our Wine List
This wine is made in the classic European, dry rosé style. Our rosé has the sophistication of a red Cabernet Franc, yet is perfect for summer sipping at a barbeque. A limited-run production, it has earned our "Vintner's Selection" designation as an estate grown wine of superior quality. Serve it chilled like a white. Dry and very tasty. Estate grown in our Connecticut vineyard.
This wine is an off-dry (medium-dry) "light red" wine with aromas of fresh berries and plums with nice acidity. The DeChaunac grape (a French/American hybrid) is bluish-black in color and the primary grape used in this wine. It is cold-fermented in stainless steel and the grapes are pressed, not crushed, and treated like a white grape (skins removed after pressing.) It is a limited production from the 2017 Jones grape harvest and is a perfect picnic wine! It pairs well with BBQ and picnic foods, as well as
- Quiche, Ceviche and Paella
- Pork, shrimp, grilled chicken, and tuna
- Bacon and prosciutto
- Chevre goat cheese and Colby Jack
