Philip Jamison (Jamie) Jones, a sixth-generation farmer at Jones Family Farms, planted the original vineyard in 1999 at Pumpkinseed Hill, and in 2004, he sold his first bottles of Jones wines. He is proud of the winemaking and vineyard management team and how they share the farm's commitment to sustainable farming and the philosophy that great wines come from great vineyards.
Our Winemaker Joseph Patrick returned to the Jones winemaking team in 2020, after receiving a college degree in Viticulture and Enology. He additionally worked at the esteemed Red Newt Cellars as well as Glacier Ridge Vineyards, located on Seneca Lake. Since returning to Jones, Joe’s divergent experience and knowledge have brought Jones's wines to another level.
Larry McCulloch joined the Jones Winery in 2008. A graduate of The Ohio State University horticulture program, his background includes working at Benmarl Vineyards in New York and Chamard Vineyards in Connecticut. Larry brings over 30 years of experience and concentrates his efforts in the vineyard.
